"The purpose of the North Star Volunteer Fire Department is to provide emergency services, public education, and assistance within the North Star Fire Service Area, using resources available, to reduce the impact of emergency incidents involving life, property, and the environment in a safe, efficient manner."
The North Star Volunteer Fire Department serves 25,000 people in a service area of 105 square miles. Located 10 miles southeast of Fairbanks, in-between Fort Wainwright and Eielson Air Force Base.
