Here at North Star VFD we offer 2 different volunteering options: live-in and traditional volunteering. Both options are a high level of dedication to the department and community.

• Meet a minimum of 24 hours a month
• Have a clean driving and criminal record

• Be on shift at the station for the 48/96 schedule for your assigned shift
• Meet a minimum of 196 hours a month
• Go to school or have a job
• Be an active member while on shift
